'The Adventures of Pinocchio' was written by Italian author Carlo Collodi in 1813. Pinocchio was the original 'naughty' pine! And as this piece depicts, one cause of his growing pain was that his nose grew each time he told a lie.
I placed him on a base with wheels - a skateboard of sorts - because if anyone would have tried this it would have been Pinocchio!
